Dundee Football Club are excited to announce the signing of defender Ethan Ingram on a two-year deal, subject to international clearance.
Ingram joins The Dee following the expiration of his contract with West Bromwich Albion where he has been since the age of 12. He has taken the decision to leave the Midlands club and move North of the border. The 21-year-old right-back spent last season on loan at English League Two side Salford City where he played 27 times in all competitions scoring once.
Ethan has played three times for the first team at West Brom in the English League Cup and has represented England at Under 17, 18 and 20โs level.
Ethan flew to Poland today and has joined up with the rest of the team at the training camp.
Speaking after joining his new teammates in Poland Ethan said, โItโs a good opportunity for me to join the club and I am excited to see what the season brings. Talks have been going on for a few months and my agent has been keeping me up to date with the talks, so itโs really good to get everything sorted and the deal done. I had conversations with the manager and he went into great detail with me about my performances and made it clear that he really wanted me to part of the team. Iโll bring a lot of athleticism and a lot of direct football and I love to get forward and run.โ
Welcome to The Dee Ethan!
