Match Preview – Hearts 10/8/24

Tomorrow, we take on Heart of Midlothian at The Scot Foam Stadium in our first home match of the 24/25 season.

Both sides took a point from the opening day of the season with The Dee securing a 2-2 draw against Dundee United at Tannadice and Hearts drawing 0-0 with Rangers at Tynecastle.

Hearts come into this season hoping to have another successful season after finishing third last term and securing European football.

Last season’s encounters between Dundee and Hearts were exciting encounters which saw the Edinburgh side take nine points out of twelve. Dundee took all three points in the first match at home last August after a spectacular strike from Luke McCowan secured a 1-0 win. Hearts won the second encounter 3-2 at Tynecastle back in January despite Dundee leading 2-0. Hearts then won the third encounter with the same scoreline despite going a goal down. Then in the split fixture which was the fourth meeting, Hearts won 3-0 at home.

Hearts will be competing on multiple fronts this season domestically and in Europe and as a result Hearts have strengthened their squad for the upcoming season.
