Dundee Football Club are delighted to announce that Graham Thomson will become the club’s first ever Youth Academy Ambassador.
Graham has been involved with the club for over fifty years and over this time has contributed so much to the Dee, doing a variety of different roles. In the 1970’s Graham was a club Director and oversaw the signing of Gordon Strachan.
Graham’s passion for youth development saw him set up Dee Promotions which has supported the development of many young footballers at Dundee FC.
Stephen Wright Head of Dundee FC Academy said, “We are extremely appreciative of the work that Graham has put in to make the experiences of the young players, staff, parents, and partners who have been involved in the Academy over many years. We, at the club are very grateful of the commitment from Graham and this recognition of Ambassador of the Academy is richly deserved.”
Alison McQueen Head of Dee Promotions said, “This recognition is long overdue to highlight the dedication, work and impact that Graham has had on the club over the many years, in particular, the youth academy. As we take the academy in a new direction, it is only right that we acknowledge and thank Graham for the support that he provided and continues to provide to the academy.”
We are thrilled that Graham will be becoming Ambassador of the Youth Academy.
