Foodbank collection at Derby

There will be a collection for Dundee Foodbank and Taught by Muhammad before the Dundee derby on Friday the 8th of November at the Kilmac Stadium at Dens Park.

Both charities work extremely hard to ensure people in the city do not go hungry by providing food packs and other essentials that help through difficult times.

“Football is a great platform to raise awareness and for everyone to come together to help those in crisis within our city. Without the help of the local football teams, our foodbank would struggle. A massive thanks to Dundee Football Club, Dundee United and all the supporters in advance for their great contribution to the city of Dundee”   Rizwan Rafik | Operations Manager | Taught by Muhammad

“Dundee Foodbank is delighted to be working alongside our friends at Taught by Muhammad to collect food and monetary donations ahead of the Dundee derby. The opportunity to collect donations comes at a very important time as we enter the colder months where many people are forced into the heating vs eating dilemma. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to both Dundee FC and Dundee United and their very generous supporters for their continued support.” Michael Calder | Stock Coordinator | Dundee Foodbank.

We have attached a list of items that are most needed by both organisations, there will be collection points outside the club shop, the bottom of Provost Road/Dens Road and also beside the Bob Shankly Stand.
