Falkirk Preview

Falkirk Preview

Paul Hartley’s men see a break from Ladbrokes Premiership action this week when we welcome Falkirk in the William Hill Scottish Cup to Dens.

It will be the first time the sides have met since March of 2014 with Dundee being promoted shortly after The Bairns won 1-0 at Dens thanks to a Mark Beck goal.

Dundee welcome back Greg Stewart who missed the win over Dundee United last weekend through suspension. However, Gary Irvine will miss out through injury.

In light of the torrential and persistent rainfall this week ahead of the William Hill Scottish Cup tie with Falkirk at Dens Park, the Club has asked the SFA and they have agree to a precautionary pitch inspection to be carried out at 10am on Saturday morning.

The ground staff have been working flat out all week and we are hopeful that the match will go ahead as planned.

DEETV subscribers can watch manager Paul Hartley and new signing Darren O’Dea talk about Darren’s signing and the Falkirk match on www.dundeefc.co.uk/deetv now.
