On other piece of business which was completed last night was the return of Michael Duffy to his parent club Celtic, ending his loan spell at Dens.
Northern Ireland under 21 international Michael joined in the summer has made 13 appearances for the club.
He scored with a fantastic strike in the Betfred Cup victory over Forfar in July but has found his chances limited, making his last start for the club in September.
