Dee’s on International Duty

Dundee FC are thrilled to have six players currently away on international duty during this international break. Owen Beck, Ryan Howley, Lyall Cameron, Josh Mulligan, Aaron Donnelly and Amadou Bakayoko have all been called up and it is a great achievement for them to be called up to their national squads.  

Wales 

Owen Beck –Senior Squad and Under 21’s Squad

Owen has been called up to the Welsh national side for the first time and will be available for selection for their Friendly against Gibraltar on Wednesday 11th October. He will then join up with the Under 21’s squad, managed by Matty Jones, for their UEFA Under 21’s European Championship qualifier against the Czech Republic on Friday 13th October.

Ryan Howley – Under 21’s Squad

Ryan Howley has been called off the stand-by list and will join Beck in the Wales Under 21’s squad for their match against the Czech Republic.

Scotland

Lyall Cameron – Under 21’s Squad

Josh Mulligan – Under 21’s Squad

Lyall and Josh are once again called up by Scot Gemmill for the Scotland Under 21’s squad. The young Scots will be available for the UEFA Under 21’s European Championship qualifiers against Hungary and Malta. Both matches are taking place at Motherwell’s Fir Park, firstly with Hungry on Friday 13th October at 7pm and then Malta on Tuesday 17th October at 5:30pm.

Northern Ireland 

Aaron Donnelly – Under 21’s Squad

Aaron Donnelly is now back fit after missing the start of the season due to injury. Aaron has not yet made his Dundee debut due to injury but has worked extremely hard to get back fit and will be looking to make his way into the Dundee first team when he returns from international duty. Northern Ireland Under 21’s are also involved in European Championship Qualifiers travelling to Azerbaijan on Thursday 12th October before facing Serbia at home on Monday 16th October.

Sierra Leone

Amadou Bakayoko – Senior Squad

Amadou Bakayoko has again been called up to the Sierra Leonne National squad. Baka will travel to Morrocco where Sierra Leone will play two friendly matches against Benin and Somalia. It will be the first matches for new Head Coach, Amidu Karim, before their qualifying campaign for the 2026 World Cup begins in November.
