Dee Promotions are taking part in a Charity Abseil on July 4th which will see the money raised going to the youth development of Dundee FC.
Alison McQueen and staff from Dens have signed up to take part along with a number of supporters.
The Abseil, with a height of 10 floors (150ft) takes place on the Saturday 4th of July at the Dundee Dental Hospital.

The timings are very strict so please be on time. If you miss your allocated registration time, this will severely delay your experience with us. Please allow plenty of time to park your car… and walk to the event registration.

Friends and family
If bringing friends and family who are not abseiling there are plenty of safe areas around the base of the building for them to observe and take photos.. Only the official event photographer will be permitted to take photos from the roof top.
What to wear
Hopefully the weather will be beautiful, sunny and hot. But Scottish weather can be equally cold and wet in July, so check the forecast before you arrive and dress for the weather on the day, stay warm or cool – whatever the forecast predicts…Essential kit you must have with you…
Footwear: Please wear training shoes
Gloves: Please use fingerless bike gloves for comfort
Long hair: Please ensue you dress back long hair below shoulder length
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes, empty pockets of loose items. All other safety equipment such as harness and helmet is provided by our safety team.
On arrival what to expect
Go straight to event registration located at the base of the Dental Building. You can leave any belongings at event registration.
You will be led through the following sequence:
briefing 1. Small group holding area and safety briefing.
briefing 2. Personal safety equipment fitting session.
briefing 3. Abseil practice area.
Briefing 4. Arrive on roof top.
Briefing 5. Abseil off building.
On arrival at the bottom of the abseil you will be de- rigged from your personal safety equipment, then guided back to event registration for event sign out.
