Goalkeeper David Mitchell is part of a group of 13, who are taking part in a trip to Arran this weekend where a climb of Goatfell will take place to raise further awareness and funds for the CLAPA charity.
David and partner Lynnette recently welcomed a new member to their family with the birth of baby boy ‘Shaw David Mitchell’. Shaw is doing great, he is fit and healthy and enjoying settling in with his family.
David and Lynnette were put in touch with the CLAPA Charity as Shaw will require treatment for cleft lip and palate issues. They have benefited greatly from the advice and support from the Hospital’s Cleft Team, as they prepare for Shaw to undergo surgery to ensure any issues are minimised as he grows up.
David hopes to raise further awareness for CLAPA through various avenues.
A Just Giving page has been set up for the ongoing fundraising and any donations are much appreciated ahead of this weekend’s climb.
