Manchester City held an open training session at Dens Park this evening ahead of the pre-season friendly with Dundee tomorrow.
The English Premiership champions were put through their paces in an hour long evening session. Fans got a preview of what is in store tomorrow afternoon with stars such as Samir Nasri, Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo turning out on the Dens pitch.
Stevan Jovetic the Montenegro international spoke to Man City’s official website ahead of the game and told them, “We’re doing three sessions a day at the moment and everything is going well; the training is enjoyable and we have our first match against Dundee on Sunday.
“Obviously, there’s nothing like competitive matches to sharpen your fitness so we can’t wait to play the game because it’s the first real step towards the beginning of the season and each game will have a part to play in our overall preparations.”
