Last Meeting
Dundee pushed Celtic all the way before going down 2-1 in Glasgow last December. Leigh Griffiths deservedly put Celtic ahead in first half injury time with a superb free kick and Nir Bitton made it two early in the second half. The match looked beyond the Dee but after Marcus Haber pulled a goal back, Dundee might have snatched a point in the last half hour during which they matched Celtic.

Celtic’s Season So Far
Celtic’s form domestically this season has been imperious as they are unbeaten having dropped just four points in two draws, sitting 25 points clear at top of the Premiership, a place booked in the Scottish Cup semi-final and the League Cup already in the bag.
The Betfred Cup was won in style in November with a comfortable 3-0 win over nearest league challengers Aberdeen in the final at Hampden after they had enjoyed knocking Old Firm rivals Rangers out in the semis who they had already thumped them 5-1 at Celtic Park in the Premiership in September.
In Europe, Celtic’s season started with embarrassment when they lost to Gibraltar part-time minnows Lincoln Red Imps in the first qualifying round but as new manager Brendan Rodgers found his feet, they won the second leg 3-0 at Celtic Park and won through another two qualifying rounds to qualify for the group stages.
Drawn against old foes Barcelona, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach, Celtic competed well after a disastrous 7-0 defeat in the Nou Camp in the opening game but restored their pride with two credible draws with Man City and one with Borussia in Germany, a match they should have won.
Since being knocked out of Europe, Brendan Rodgers has his sights fixed on a domestic treble and having not beaten Celtic at home since 1988, Dundee face a tough task if they are going to take anything on Sunday.
Since the winter break Celtic have won all ten of their 11 matches, drawing the other against Rangers last weekend and this has included three Scottish Cup victories which has set up an Old Firm semi-final for the second domestic cup competition in a row. With the Premiership title virtually assured, the Scottish Cup will take on extra significance as they look to complete a domestic treble for the first time since 2000/01.
Celtic will also be looking to finish the season unbeaten in the league, something not achieved in the Scottish top flight since Rangers did it in 1899 over 18 games so can Dundee be the first team to stop them?
