Ash Hay extends Dundee stay until 2028

Dundee Football Club is delighted to announce that Ashley Hay has signed a new contract, extending his stay at the club until 2028, with a club option to extend further.

Striker Hay scored an injury-time winner against Falkirk on Saturday in his return from injury.

The 23-year-old has scored three goals in all competitions so far this season, with two Premier Sports Cup group stage strikes to add to his all-important finish at the weekend.

Hay joined the Dee from Brentford in July 2025, and scored five goals in all competitions in his first season at the club.

Ashley Hay said:

“I’m excited to extend my stay at the club. Everyone has been really good with me since I joined.

“The fans have been very good with me since I came here, very supportive. I’ve never had love like this from a club before. I’m really enjoying my time here and I’m looking forward to progressing.”

Manager Steven Pressley added:

“Ash has progressed really well since coming in, and he has scored some pivotal goals for us.

“He has developed a strong bond with the supporters as a result of his commitment and work rate. But we also think there’s a lot more still to come from him, and a result we’re really excited for the future.”

Everyone at Dundee Football Club congratulates Ash on his new contract and wishes him all the best for his time at the club.
