Dundee Football Club are excited to announce that Sebastian Lochhead and Josh Mitchell have joined the club’s development team.
The two players have come through the club’s academy and have now been signed by the club on a full-time basis and will join the rest of the Development players at the club’s Gardyne training Centre.
Both came through the SFA performance school at St John’s. Sebastian joined the Dundee Academy at the age of seven and Josh at the age of eight.
After signing for Dundee Sebastian said, “I am just looking forward to playing football every day and to get better and push on, to get to the next level and to aspire to the first-team. I got the opportunity to play in the testimonial for Dundee against Stirling Albion a month ago and it was a fantastic experience and it has just made me really hungry to get to that level.”
Josh made several starting appearances for Dundee reserves before signing full-time and after signing Josh said, “It’s going to be great being around the first team and learning from them both on and off the pitch. You see players that have come through the youth set-up at the club like Josh Mulligan, Lyall Cameron and Fin Robertson and you want to be the next one to make the first team.”
Both Sebastian and Josh had their photo taken alongside current players at the St John’s Performance School encouraging all players at the school that they could be the next one to sign for the club.
We wish Sebastian and Josh all the very best.
