Dundee Football Club in partnership with SSAFA (The Armed Forces Charity) are delighted to today release The Dundee FC 23/24 third Kit.

The club continues its longstanding partnership with SSAFA and highlights the work of SSAFA through this season’s third kit. The tartan theme which has been present in all of Dundee’s kits this season is continued in this kit, with The Black Watch Tartan being displayed down the left-hand side. The Black Watch Crest is also displayed on the back of the shirt as well as the Latin, ‘Nemo Me Impune Lacessit’.

£5 from each third shirt sold will go to the work of SSAFA. Speaking at the photo shoot of the third kit, Ronnie Proctor – Chairman of Dundee and Angus SSAFA – said, “SSAFA is the UK’s oldest military charity and is an organisation that supports veterans, their families and serving soldiers at a time of need. SSAFA is there to offer help and support these individuals, by offering financial, practical and emotional support, through its network of volunteers. It is great to once again be partnering with Dundee Football Club and we are all looking forward to coming along to the match at the start of April.”

The photoshoot for the third kit took place at The Black Watch Memorial in Dundee where Owen Beck, Luke McCowan, Lyall Cameron and Zach Robinson were joined by veterans and SSAFA representatives to highlight the partnership between the club and SSAFA.

The third kit will be worn for the first time in our home match against Motherwell on Saturday 6th April and will also be worn in other matches before the end of this season. The match against Motherwell will be our SSAFA match, where representatives from SSAFA, veterans and their families will be in attendance. There will be other activities involving SSAFA going on before kick-off on Saturday 6th April and more information will be shared closer to the date.

Like with this season’s home and away shirts, there is a limited edition Museum version of the shirt available, containing no sponsors. This celebrates the tartan in the shirt. To support the continued work of the V&A Dundee, the museum edition of the shirt will cost £60 with £5 going to the V&A Dundee. So don’t miss out on the limited edition museum shirt.
