On Sunday night Dundee Football Club and the Dundee Supporters Association inducted five new members into the Dundee FC Hall of Fame. Gary Harkins, Jim Smith, Bert Slater, Jock Gilmour and Jim Thomson.
The club celebrated two other individuals, Eric Ferguson and Bobby Ford who were inducted into the Hall of Fame back in January at the 1973 League Cup anniversary dinner.
Gary Harkins, Eric Ferguson, Bobby Ford, Jim Smith and Jim Thomson were in all attendance at the dinner joined by family members as they were inducted. Family members of Bert Slater and Jock Gilmour were in attendance to accept the award on behalf of Bert and Jock.
Jim Thomson received a surprise Special Recognition award on the night. Jim has worked at the Dundee FC since 1992 and the award celebrated all he has given to the club over 32 years.
