A very young Dundee side went down to a Kevin O’Hara hat trick at the Falkirk Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Falkirk took the lead inside the first minute after a cross from the left was headed down to O’Hara inside the six yard box.
The match was a fairly even contest for the rest of the half with Josh Skelly and Ian Smith both coming close for Dundee.
The start of the second half was almost identical to the first, with Falkirk again netting early on, O’Hara again finding the net.
Jimmy Boyle used his bench and the end of the match saw, two 16 years olds, two 15 year olds and two 14 year olds all getting game time.
As the game came to a close, with the young Dees again doing well through the second half, Falkirk added a third with the last kick of the ball, O’Hara completing his hat trick.
