Yordi leaves the club

Yordi Teijsse has today left the club by mutual consent.

Dutch striker Teijsse joined Dundee in May 2016 and made his Dark Blue debut as a second half substitute in the Betfred Cup 6-2 win over Dumbarton at Dens in July. He scored on his first start against Forfar Athletic a week later, heading home the last goal in The Dee’s 7-0 win.

Game time was limited after that, making only 3 starts for the club and a further 6 substitute appearances in the Ladbrokes Premiership. In January, he joined German side Wuppertaler SV on loan until the end of the season.

We would like to thank Yordi for his efforts while with the club and wish him all the best for the future.
