Just as Dundee Football Club are part of the fabric of this city, the city’s heritage is embedded in the new jersey. In our traditional Dark Blue base, the jersey is elevated by an embossed, yet subtle, pattern – a contemporary take on the original jute weave, so synonymous with Dundee.
Managing Director, John Nelms said “Events over the past 12 months have reaffirmed just how much this club is engrained in the fabric of the city. Despite the restrictions, supporters have continued to back the club with unwavering commitment.
As the city’s oldest football club, we considered circumstances had made it right for us to pay tribute to Dundee and I think the new Home jersey achieves this with the refreshed jute pattern embellishing the kit.”
In addition to the jute weave, the jersey features a ribbed collar and sleeves, a finish which adds to the fit and style of the top.
Complimenting the overall aesthetic of is a neon sky blue accent colour, a striking addition which garnishes the club crest, sponsors logo, neckline and sleeves.
Finally, the attention to detail from our kit partners, Macron, is exemplified by the detailing on the back-neck. Printed below the collar sits the postcode DD3 7JY, our home.
