Rayan joins the development squad

The club are really pleased to confirm that 17-year-old striker Rayan Mohammed has officially signed for the club and will be part of the development squad coached by Scott Robertson.

Rayan signed in July and was part of the Dundee B side that beat Buckie Thistle 4-0 last Wednesday. It was Rayan that broke the deadlock after just 36 seconds.

He began playing with Hutchinson Vale at age 8 and scored over 40 goals per season whilst, with them he was part of their Under 13’s side that won the Scottish Cup. He has also represented Scotland’s Schools.

In 2022 he signed for Alloa and after time with the Under 20’s and 18’s where he scored 43 goals, he was given the opportunity to train with the first team and then made his debut for the club against Falkirk last season.

Rayan is an exciting prospect and we hope with the environment he is coming into that he can continue to develop and fulfil his potential here at Dundee Football Club.
