We face Raith Rovers at Stark’s Park this Wednesday in the 1st leg of the Premiership play-off Semi Final, kick off 7.45pm.
Manager James McPake spoke to the press ahead of the match and said, “We have watched them. Dunfermline let me and Dave in so we watched them on Tuesday night then Dave was at Raith on Saturday and I watched it from home.”
“We’ve seen plenty of them, we had seen plenty of both teams. I think it was two really tense games that could have gone either way but credit to Raith they got through in the end, they got the goals but it was two quite nervy games I thought. You can see why, there is a lot at stake.”
After victories over Raith and Queen of the South in the final two matches of the regular season Dundee secured 2nd place which meant some time without a match as Raith and Dunfermline went head to head in the Quarter Final, time which James has put to good use, he said “The good thing about this time is we have had extra time on the training pitch and we’ve been able to get a few niggles sorted that were creeping in.”
“I said after the Queen of the South game that we weren’t going to take our foot off the pedal. It wasn’t a time to give them a rest, it was a time to work harder and that is what we have done.”

The manager confirmed that Jack Hamilton and Finlay Robertson remain on the sidelines. Jordan Marshall and Liam Fontaine have both returned to training after missing the match at Palmerston last time out.
