Manager Paul Hartley couldn’t hide his frustration following his side’s 1-1 draw with Hamilton Accies at Dens on Friday night, he told us, “I’m frustrated with the performance, especially the second half, we just didn’t get going. Our tempo was poor, our passing was poor. We didn’t show enough for the ball, we played too many long balls. We didn’t have enough quality, we didn’t have enough efforts on goal, overall I’m disappointed.”
“I felt we started the game OK, the first 15 minutes we were alright, they score a brilliant goal but after that we just didn’t get going.”
“Giving the ball away cheaply, that’s criminal. If you have good possession of the ball you have to keep it, you’ve got to work to opposition and we didn’t do that.”
“I think the home games are really important in terms of the teams that we think will be around us at the end of the season so I think it’s vital to get as many points as we can.”
