Dundee vs St Johnstone
Tuesday 2nd January
3pm kick-off
The Scot Foam Stadium
cinch Premiership
We host St Johnstone tomorrow, Tuesday 2nd January, as we play our first match of 2024. It is the first match of 2024 for both sides and it is also the last match before the winter break. Both teams will be looking to start 2024 on a high and will want to go into the winter break with three points. The sides last met in the league on 2nd September 2023 at McDiarmid Park, where two late goals from St Johnstone rescued a point for the Perth side as the match finished 2-2. On that day Saints were under the management of Steven MacLean, however, five matches later they parted company with MacLean and on the 5th of November they appointed Craig Levein as manager. Levein has transformed the fortunes of St Johnstone and has lifted them off the bottom of the league. St Johnstone were not in action at the weekend and their last match was a 0-0 draw away to Livingston last Wednesday. St Johnstone currently sit tenth in the league, three points behind Dundee and have played two more matches.
