Dundee Football Club are delighted to announce Jon Aurtenetxe has signed an extension with the club.
Left back Jon has been a regular in the side since making his first start against Kilmarnock in November and this afternoon has committed himself to the club until the end of the season.
Jon came to the club with a high pedigree having played in La Liga. He featured over 100 times for Athletic Bilbao and also for Celta Vigo in the top flight of Spanish football.
He also has experience of playing European football from his time with Bilbao. Jon made his debut in the Europa League at the age of 17 and three years later played in the final of the competition.
Jon has featured ten times for the club so far this season and we are delighted he has extended his time at Dens until at least the summer.
