Gomis back in contention

Dundee welcome Ross County to Dens this Saturday as Paul Hartley’s side look to make it three home wins in a row.

The teams met on the opening day of the season when Dundee ran out 3-1 winners, the manager spoke to the press ahead of this weekend’s match, he said “Looking forward to it, our home form has been good of late. We want a reaction from last week, we know it wasn’t a good performance. The players have been excellent in training, they know themselves they weren’t good enough.”

The Ladbrokes Premiership couldn’t be any closer with 3 points separating 7 teams in December, the manager knows consistency is key for all the teams. “I think that’s the case with a lot of the teams, it’s just finding that consistency week in week out. I’m pleased with the victories and we are going to try and get another one on Saturday, that would be 4 wins from 6, we’ve got to look at that and try and get another 3 points at home. The home form has been good of late and we want to try and do that again on Saturday.”

On the selection front. Kevin Gomis returns after missing last week’s match with due to returning home for the birth of his child, the manager also updated on Nicky Low and Mark O’Hara, “Gomis is back, which is pleasing. Nicky Low came through an under 20s game during the week which was good. Mark O’Hara is still probably another week to 10 days he had a little set back but has trained this week so we’ll see how he goes.”
