The Dark Blues beat Arbroath 1-0 tonight in a competitive pre-season friendly at Gayfield. Zach Robinson scored the only goal, late in the first half. The goalkeepers deserve great credit for ensuring there were no further goals. Jon McCracken pulled off a wonderful save from Leighton McIntosh’s penalty, and Derek Gastom made a string of fine saves in the second half to deny the Dee.
