Everyone at Dundee Football Club was devastated to hear of the passing of Jack Robertson at the end of last month following a short battle with cancer.

A lifelong Dee, Jack was a close friend of the club and offered valuable support to Directors of the club over the years.

Jack, former Chairman of city legal firm Thorntons, was a giant personality in the Dundee business community and was a great asset to the football club over many years in his capacity as legal representative and adviser.

At some of our lowest moments in recent years, Jack was one of a number of people who helped guide the club and his assistance will always be valued by the club.

Our thoughts at this difficult time are with Jack’s family and friends.
