Undefeated run comes to an end

The Dark Blues undefeated run came to an end with a 4-2 defeat at home to Arbroath. Defensive failings cost the Dee dearly, especially at set pieces. The Lichties took an early 2-0 lead through Michael McKenna and Colin Hamilton. Despite a red card for Ben Williamson Dundee levelled with goals from Paul McMullan and a Zak Rudden penalty either side of half time. After the equaliser Thomas O’Brien immediately put Arbroath back in front and Dale Hilson added the final goal. Defensive failings, especially at set pieces, cost Dundee dearly and both teams got exactly what they deserved from the game.
