Ross County – Match Preview

Ross County – Match Preview

We are at home again this weekend as we take on Ross County this Saturday, 17th February, in the cinch Premiership. It is a 3pm kick-off at The Scot Foam Stadium on Saturday. Ross County come into this match currently sitting in 11th position in the league table. This is our third match against County this season and it will be the third different manager leading them in a game against us. Our first match against them was back in October when they were under the management of Malky Mackay and it ended in a 0-0 draw at The Scot Foam Stadium. The second match was up in Dingwall on 16th December when they were under the management of Derek Adams, and The Dee took three points back down the road thanks to a late winner from Joe Shaughnessy who earned a 0-1 win. Tomorrow County will be under the management of Don Cowie in what will be his second match in charge of the club.

Tony Docherty

“We are under no illusion that it will be a difficult game against Ross County, like it has been this season. We will have to do a lot of things right, in and out of possession. But, hopefully, if my team can put in the level of performance that we put in against St Johnstone, that will give us every opportunity and chance to take maximum points from it.”

Aaron Donnelly

“We will be ready on Saturday. We know how fatiguing it is having mid-week games. We’ve got to get our minds in the game and get out of the blocks quickly and hopefully get the three points.”
