MAGNIFICENT DEES CUT GAP

Dundee turned in a totally professional performance to cut the gap at the top of the table by beating league leaders Hamilton 3-0 at New Douglas Park.

It was the Dark Blues first ever league win on a plastic pitch and it came at just the right time to peg back the leaders.

Iain Davidson opened the scoring in the first half with a hooked shot – ‘One of those you hit and hope he told us’

Declan Gallagher rose highest to head Dundee two ahead after the break and Peter MacDonald’s last minute header completed the rout.
