Manager Paul Hartley has been handed an boost this weekend with the return of both Michael Duffy and Paul McGowan to the squad.
Both players sat out last weekend’s draw with Hamilton at Dens but have trained this week and will return to the manager’s plans.
One other addition to the squad is defender Kevin Gomis who signed just too late to take part in the match with Accies last week. The French centre half has also trained this week and is in the matchday squad for Saturday.
The manager picked out Motherwell’s front three as their key players, telling the press what they can expect from the match at Fir Park, he said “I think two teams that play on the front foot and are attack minded. They have a front three that can cause anybody problems, Johnson, Ainsworth and McDonald. They are key players for them that we have to take care of.”
“They have been good games over the last couple of seasons, a lot of goals, they have been pretty open and I’d expect another good game on Saturday”
James Vincent (knee) and Craig Wighton (knee) will both miss out through injury.
