We are delighted to announce we will be sponsoring a statue for the Oor Wullie Bucket Trail in aid of The Archie Foundation.
The Oor Wullie Bucket Trail is a braw initiative brought to you by The Archie Foundation, DC Thomson and Wild in Art that will unite businesses, communities, artists and schools – and leave a lasting legacy for Tayside in the form of a new operating suite for Ninewells Childrens Hospital.
For 10 weeks through summer 2016, the streets and open spaces of Dundee & beyond will become home to more than 50 individually designed giant Oor Wullie statues – showcasing the wealth of creative talent in the area, whilst positively contributing to the economic, cultural & social life of the region.
While the 50 sculpture trail is underway in Dundee, 10 extra sculptures will set off on an eight week National Tour across Scotland.
This will start in St Andrews, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Perth, Inverness, Aberdeen…and back eight weeks later to Dundee, in time for the end of the Dundee trail and the grand auction of 60 Oor Wullie’s.
