The Dundee FC Hall of Fame 2014 will take place in The Apex City Quay & Spa Hotel on Friday 7th November 2014.
More Dark Blue Heroes will join the likes of Ian Ure, Bobby Cox, Alan Gilzean, Tommy Coyne, Jim Duffy, Barry Smith and Gordon Smith in being recognised for their contribution in the 121 year old history of The Club.
Two further Legends will be inducted in to the Hall of Fame, along with a Heritage Award and for the first time a Hall of Fame Modern Moment. An independent group of life long Dundee supporters will choose worthy inductees from their shortlist of nominees after many months of discussion and debate.
Main Speaker will be former Everton & Wales Legend Kevin Ratcliffe who had a spell at Dens Park in the 1990’s. The defender played nearly 350 time for the Goodison Park club over a 12 year period before turning out briefly for The Dee in 1992 after being signed by Simon Stainrod. He was capped at International level 59 times between 1981 & 1993.
The evening includes a 3 course meal at the 4 star Deluxe City Centre hotel, and the opportunity to pay homage to former greats as they cement their name in the Dark Blue history books.
