Craig Beattie is the latest member of the Championship winning squad to be confirmed as leaving the club. The former Scotland international joined the Dark Blues in September 2013 and made 19 appearances, scoring five goals – the last of them in the 3-0 win at Alloa which set up the last day title win.
He’ll perhaps be best remembered by Dundee fans for the screamer of a strike he scored against Cowdenbeath at Central Park in October – his 40 yard dipping shot earning him the SPFL goal of the month award.
His goals and influence, on and off the park, played a big part in Dundee’s promotion and everyone at the club would like to thank Craig for his efforts in Dark Blue and to wish him all the best for the future.
