Dundee take on SPFL Premiership champions Celtic in a lunch time (12.30pm) kick match which is being televised live in the UK by BT Sport
The Dark Blues go into the match looking to extend their six game unbeaten start to the season, while Celtic bid to avoid three defeats in a row, something that hasn’t happened to them for seven years.
Manager Paul Hartley said “It will be tough match for us, but with us coming into it unbeaten in six matches we are high on confidence and will be looking forward to it.”
THE SQUAD
Kevin Thomson and Willie Dyer are likely to miss out through injury, while it will be interesting to see how Hartley lines up his team after the players brought into the starting eleven against Raith Rovers in midweek impressed.
LAST TIME
Celtic last visited Dens on Boxing Day 2012 and went away with full points from a 2-0 win, Georgios Samaras and Gary Hooper scoring for the Hoops.
OPPOSITION NEW BOY
Celtic added to their squad this week with the arrival of Wakaso Mubarak, and the Ghana international winger seems likely to make his debut at Dens.
