CALEY THROUGH AT DENS

Dundee were knocked out of the League Cup by a Billy McKay goal despite putting in a much improved display.

Inverness Caley Thistle, who are current leaders in the SPFL Premiership, took the lead after only nine minutes through McKay’s turning home a shot across goal.

Despite going behind Dundee put in arguably their best performances of the season and but for two fantastic saves by Dean Brill would have forced at least extra time.

Firstly from Craig Beattie just before half time then in the closing minutes the Caley keeper denied Ryan Conroy.
