Potential £91 saving with Season Ticket

Before last night’s convincing Betfred Cup victory over Cowdenbeath we sat down with manager Neil McCann who spoke of his hope that the Dundee support will back the squad this season in big numbers.

The manager highlighted the atmosphere at home matches, “I think Dens has always been pretty special when it gets going, I’m really hopeful that we do get the numbers up.”

The 2017/18 Season Ticket for the Ladbrokes Premiership season represents fantastic value with a potential £91 saving on an adult ticket when compared with the walk up prices for the league campaign.

Prices are as follows –

Adults – £385

Under 18 – £130

Over 65 – £265

Neil told us, “I think the numbers that came out and supported us last season, you can’t underestimate the impact that can have. I know that sounds crazy because we didn’t win either of the games but the numbers and the sheer weight of the support was brilliant.”

“I’m really surprised we have only sold 3,200 (season tickets) because I know the club have tried to do certain carrots and concessions where I know they have got a lot of children in and it’s cheap for those kids to buy season books but although the numbers are slightly up I think we have dropped in terms of adult sales which I’m surprised about.”

“Now whether that is the time of year, people are wanting to spend money on their holidays but I’m excited about the squad we’ve got, I’m excited about the season. I know the fans will come in and I’m hoping they renew their season books. I’m hoping we can drag some new ones, maybe some guys who have drifted away. I hope they come back because the more people we get through the door to support us I think the more chance we’ve got of being successful because the support we get from the stands transcends onto the pitch. The players can feel it, the same way they can feel negative energy, they can feel positive.”

“I think Dens has always been pretty special when it gets going, I’m really hopeful that we do get the numbers up. It might just be a stampede that everyone is waiting on, hopefully that is the case and we get the numbers up. It’s everybody pulling together, it’s the club, it’s the players, it’s the fans and when that is all going in one direction it can be pretty powerful.”
