Hospital Visit, Junior Dees Christmas Party and Calendar signing

Tuesday saw our players take part in a rewarding afternoon which gave them the opportunity to meet fans young and old as they visited Ninewells Hospital before returning to Dens for the Junior Dees Christmas party and the always popular calendar signing.

First up after training the players made the journey to Ninewells armed with gifts for all age groups and spent time with patients in the children’s medical ward, surgical ward and outpatient clinics and also visited adult patients in one of the orthopaedic wards.

The players returned to Dens with the Junior Dees Christmas party in full flow. Deewok entertained the kids who got the chance to meet Santa before the players arrived.

Following the party the players met more fans during the packed calendar signing which saw queues out of the door.

The Club would like to thank all supporters who attended the events at Dens Park as well as the nurses and staff at Ninewells.

The weather on Tuesday night was not the best but it reinforced the fantastic support that we have that so many waited to meet the players. It means a lot to the team to be able to see the support and interact with so many of the fans.

We would also like to thank the Exiled Dark Blues who sponsor the Junior Dees and the DSA who donated money for the events. A special thanks also to Chris from Toys ‘R’ us and the other businesses who supported the club in these events.
