FIRST LEAGUE WIN ON THE ROAD

Dundee secured their first away league win of the season at Cowdenbeath this afternoon thanks to goals from Craig Beattie and Ryan Conroy.

The Dee put in another good performance but it was a piece of individual brilliance which separated the teams at half time.

Beattie controlled a long ball forward on the chest and lobbed Cowdenbeath keeper Thomas Flynn from 35 yards with the inside of his foot.

After the break Dundee pushed on in determined style and sealed the win when Ryan Conroy finished Peter MacDonald’s cross with a right footed effort.
