Stenhousemuir knocked Dundee out of the Ramsdens Cup on penalties at Dens this afternoon.
They did take the lead from the spot in the second half of normal time through Peter MacDonald after Jim McAlister was fouled in the box.
Ex Dee Sean Higgins blasted Stenny level shortly after and neither side could find a winner in the remaining time or through 30 minutes of extra time.
In the shootout, the first 5 couldn’t separate the sides and it was into sudden death when Sean Lynch scored the winning spot kick.
